In addition to being a business strategist, I'm a frustrated writer. So, I look forward to sharing thoughts here that relate to success stories, food for thought, or just to engage.

I mentioned in my bio that I grew up in a family business, a neighborhood pharmacy in Houston Texas, founded by my grandfather. This business was a central fixture in the community for seasonal events, everyday needs, congregating after school, and friendly service. It's role in the community wasn't accidental. It came from hands on and in person relationships with suppliers involving collaboration and brainstorming in the aisles of the store.

The first thing I observed about entrepreneurship is that it takes a level of dedication that goes above and beyond the great ideas and the vision and it's a dedication that doesn't stop - even during uncertain economic times. I'm not saying there is no room for rest, I'm saying that entrepreneurs rarely take their mind away from the health of their business, their employees, and the growth goals they brainstorm about during their quiet moments.

I took that level of dedication with me when I was employed by larger companies and took pride in mentoring others as I took on new roles. Now that I've had the opportunity to work with a few small business owners with personalized strategies to right size inventory buys, differentiate from the competition and grow their customer base, I have never been more excited to continue passing along corporate strategies in a non-corporate way. My goal is to empower entrepreneurs to recognize hidden data points that will unlock new opportunities and quick pivots.

I want to hear your story, your plans, your questions and concerns, and provide a thoughtful, customer driven strategy to take your hard work to the next level. It's a new year and there is so much opportunity for growth. The world is changing and so are your customers. I can't wait to jump in and get started!
